Check in at The Station Information Centre in central Queenstown 15 minutes prior to departure.

Board the complimentary Shotover Jet shuttle bus to the Shotover Canyon Base.

Attend the safety briefing and put on provided full-length life jackets.

Board the jet boat for 30 minutes of exhilarating high-speed riding and 360-degree spins through the canyons. Return to the base, check out optional souvenir photos/videos, and take the shuttle back to central Queenstown.

The Station Information Centre, corner Shotover and Camp Streets, Queenstown (or self-drive to Shotover Jet River Base directly)

Please arrive at The Station Information Centre 15 minutes before your booked time to present your voucher and board the shuttle. Late arrivals will be deemed as a No-Show and are non-refundable and non-changeable.

Cancellation

Free cancellation or modification up to 4 days prior to the activity time (during New Zealand business hours). Cancellations within 4 days are non-refundable and non-changeable. Full refunds apply if canceled due to severe weather/river conditions.

Important

All children must meet the minimum height requirement of 1.0m (subject to river conditions up to 1.2m). Children aged 10-15 may ride unaccompanied only if a parent/guardian is present at the river base. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult aged 16+. Wear weather-appropriate clothing. Windproof jackets, beanies, and gloves are strongly recommended in winter; sunglasses and sunscreen in summer.

Are there height or age limits for children joining the ride?

Children must be at least 1.0 metre tall to ride (may be raised to 1.2m depending on river conditions). Children aged 5-14 require a child ticket, and infants under 5 (height requirement met) can ride free with a paying adult.
