1. Scope. This policy explains how the CT trip website and booking service collect, use, store, and disclose personal information. We handle personal information in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

We may collect your name, email address, phone number, WeChat or other contact details, travel dates, traveller numbers, pickup information, booking preferences, messages, payment status, and communications with our team. The website may also record basic technical information needed for security and operation, such as IP address, browser type, request time, and error logs.

3. How we use information. We use personal information to answer enquiries, check availability, create and manage bookings, arrange services with tourism suppliers, process or verify payments, provide customer support, prevent fraud, meet legal obligations, and improve website reliability.

4. Suppliers and service providers. We may share only the information reasonably required with accommodation providers, activity operators, transport providers, payment providers, technology providers, professional advisers, or public authorities where required by law. Some providers may process information outside New Zealand and will be selected and managed with reasonable care.

5. Payments. Card payment details are entered directly into the authorised payment provider's secure system when online payment is available. CT trip does not intend to store complete card numbers or card security codes on this website.

6. Storage, security, and retention. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect personal information. Information is retained only for as long as reasonably required for booking support, accounting, dispute handling, legal compliance, and legitimate business records, then securely deleted or anonymised where practical.
