Booking Terms

Last updated: 16 July 2026.

1. Booking requests. Submitting a form is a request only. A booking is not confirmed until CT trip has checked availability, accepted the request, issued written confirmation, and received any required payment by the stated deadline.

2. Accurate information. You must provide accurate traveller, contact, date, pickup, age, and other requested information. Tell us promptly if anything changes. We are not responsible for service failures caused by materially incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer.

3. Prices and payments. Unless stated otherwise, prices are in New Zealand dollars. GST treatment is shown in the booking information. Deposits, balances, payment deadlines, and accepted payment methods will be stated before payment. A payment is not treated as received until confirmed by the payment provider or manually verified against the relevant transaction.

4. Availability and changes. Prices, schedules, routes, vehicles, guides, and availability may change before confirmation. Weather, road conditions, safety requirements, supplier operations, and minimum participant numbers may also require changes after confirmation. We will communicate material changes and offer the options available under the applicable supplier terms and New Zealand law.

5. Supplier terms. Tours, tickets, accommodation, transport, and activities may be delivered by independent suppliers. Their product-specific conditions, age or health restrictions, check-in rules, cancellation terms, and safety instructions form part of the booking where disclosed before payment.

6. Customer responsibilities. Travellers are responsible for valid passports, visas, insurance, licences, suitable clothing, medical advice, punctual arrival, and following lawful safety instructions. Tell us before booking about mobility needs, medical conditions, or other requirements that may affect safe participation.

7. Activities and risk. New Zealand travel may involve weather, alpine, water, road, wildlife, and adventure risks. Customers must consider whether an activity is suitable for them. Operators may refuse participation where safety requirements are not met, subject to applicable law and supplier terms.

8. Travel insurance. Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended, including cover for cancellation, medical costs, lost belongings, rental vehicle excess, and disruption caused by weather or transport changes.

9. Liability and consumer rights. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, Fair Trading Act 1986, or other applicable law. To the extent permitted by law, CT trip is not liable for indirect or consequential loss or for events outside reasonable control.

10. Governing law and contact. These terms are governed by New Zealand law. Questions should be raised before payment using the current contact details shown on this website.
