Meet your guide, receive a safety briefing, and get fitted with waterproof clothing and leather boots.

Board the shuttle bus to the local helipad.

Enjoy a spectacular helicopter flight landing directly onto Fox Glacier.

Put on crampons and spend up to 3 hours guided hiking through glacier ice formations and blue ice caves.

Take the helicopter back to the helipad, return by shuttle bus to the base, and return equipment.

Please arrive and check in at the Fox Glacier Guiding Building at least 20 minutes before your departure time. Late arrivals may result in forfeiture of the tour without refund.

Cancellation

Free cancellation or change up to 4 days before the scheduled trip start time. Cancellations made within 4 days are 100% non-refundable. Full refunds apply if the tour is canceled by the operator due to unfavorable weather conditions.

Important

Minimum age requirement is 9 years (children aged 9-16 must be accompanied by an adult). Individual weight limit is 116 kg (256 lbs). Requires a minimum of 2 or 3 passengers to operate; solo travelers will be matched with other bookings. Carry-on bag weight on the helicopter is limited to 3 kg.
